The parquet board is a modern analogue-substitute for natural parquet. A high-tech product, all preparation and processing processes of which are produced in the factory.  

In fact, this is the same parquet, but already glued to plywood or another base, the surface of which  in the same place, in production, is subjected to  grinding,  putty  and covered with a protective layer.

Depending on the type of base, the parquet board is divided into two-layer (engineering) and three-layer. By the number of rows of slats on the front side, one-, two-, three-, four- and multi-strip designs are distinguished.

It arrives at the object not in the form of a semi-finished product, unlike classic parquet, but ready for use. It was this moment, as well as not too high requirements for qualifications in laying matters, that made the parquet board extremely popular.
